Where is Cappadocia ?

Situated in Central Anatolia, Cappadocia, because of its rich archeological heritage and its geological formations,is among those sites listed in the World’s Heritage List of UNESCO Convention for the Protection of World’s Cultural and Natural Heritage.

Eruptions of lava from the now extinct Erciyes and Hasandag volcanoes in the far past covered the landscape with soft tufa rock,which the winds of time slowly proceeded to sculpt into tortuous valleys and fantastic pinnacles.
